Beth specializes in restoring agricultural and mined lands to their pre-existing natural plant communities. She first worked for The Nature Conservancy in both California and Florida and then went on to work for private companies. Currently, Beth is a project scientist for an environmental consulting firm (Cardno ENTRIX) in Riverview, Florida, where she focuses on restoring upland habitats, primarily pine flatwoods and sandhill communities of Central Florida. Beth has been a representative for the Society of Ecological Restoration’s (SER) Southeast Chapter and served as a representative at large for a number of years. She is a member of the Florida Native Plant Society and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
