Edible gardens are always popular — and useful. Learn how you can combine your love of foraging, growing your own food and using more native plants in this NEW class.

TOPICS COVERED

The instructors will demonstrate the culinary applications of multiple different Florida native plant species, including seasonal varieties and their uses, from these main categories:

  • Vegetables and roots
  • Herbs
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Fruits

Within each category, instructors will present notable species, detailing basic plant information, harvesting and preservation techniques and present recipes for seasonal crop selections.
