Propagation and Landscape Use of Proven Performers at the UF Teaching Gardens

Are you a beginning native plant propagator? Want to learn to about propagating native plants from seed or cuttings and grow some of your own plants? This class can help you get started. 
This session introduces select native plants that have done exceptionally well in the University of Florida teaching gardens. Attendees will become familiar with different propagation systems and clues used to determine if a plant is most easily propagated by seed, cuttings, or both. The class will also review different systems to alleviate various types of seed dormancy and techniques for clonal propagation.
