25+ years in conservation and environmental protection

In addition to his work with FWC, Fritz serves as an adjunct professor for Wakulla Environmental Institute. He previously served with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection as an environmental consultant for over 25 years. He worked on the Coastal Construction Regulatory Program which focused on assessment and protection of beach dune natural communities and coastal infrastructure. Fritz has also served as a leader in conservation nonprofits, including, as past president, the Florida Native Plant Society.
