South Florida Water Management District
Robert Wanvestraut is a water use efficiency and conservation specialist and currently the Senior Conservation Analyst for the South Florida Water Management District. He is a contributing author of Regional Water Supply Plans and author and coauthor of technical documents and public educational pieces. Robert has served as a liaison between state agencies and local municipalities and developed and managed partnerships with local agencies.

M.S. in forest resources and conservation, University of Florida.
This session will review the need for water conservation in Florida and the role that landscape and irrigation professionals play in sustaining water resources.
